Mental health disorders left untreated affect not only the individual struggling, but their family and their community at large. We all have our own unique piece to the puzzle to add in this journey called life, and what happens if some of us never reach our full potential? Look at the world around you today- what would it look like if we ALL had our positive mental health? One of the best things you can do for yourself, or someone you love struggling with a mental health disorder is find the support, care, and treatments needed as soon as possible. With statistics of 1 in 5 U.S. adults experiencing mental illness each year; and 1 in 25 adults in the USA experiencing serious mental illness each year, there is a needed awareness at hand. This is especially true for our younger generations, as 1 in 6 youth aged 6-17 Americans experience a mental health disorder each year. Even more important to understand is that fifty percent of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14 and 75% by age 24, therefore sooner is key to helping our future generations. If we as individuals can address this concern by finding the best inpatient mental health treatment as soon as possible, we as a whole can see and experience a potentially better world.
