What is the 3-Day Intensive Outpatient Program?

(IOP 3)

Omega Recovery’s 3-Day Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP 3) is the final required step in our comprehensive three-phase treatment process. After completing PHP and IOP 5, clients progress into IOP 3 as they prepare for greater independence and long-term recovery planning.

This program is designed for individuals who have developed strong coping skills, emotional stability, and relapse prevention tools but still benefit from structured therapeutic engagement while transitioning back into work, school, or family responsibilities. IOP 3 supports lasting recovery for those overcoming substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and tech addiction.

At Omega Recovery in Austin, TX, the 3-Day IOP provides essential stability and support before moving into sober living, outpatient counseling, or fully independent recovery.

Phase 3: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – 3 Days/Week

Phase 3 serves as a long-term support and integration phase. The focus is on reinforcing the skills and healing achieved in earlier phases while clients fully reintegrate into their communities, workplaces, and support systems.

  • Personal Accountability
  • Personal independence and agency
  • Finding purpose
  • Trauma recovery and healing
  • Skill reinforcement
  • Building Community

Clients continue working with the same therapist throughout all phases to maintain continuity and depth of therapeutic work.
