Community Integrated Treatment
The housing component of Omega Recovery’s treatment program is supported by a 24/7 staffed living environment. The living environments are gender-specific, meaning men and women are housed separately. Clients will have the opportunity to learn or relearn how to perform everyday tasks such as making dinner, doing chores, financial planning, and preparing for job interviews. They will be a part of a tight-knit community and will be encouraged to offer support to their housemates along their journey.
Omega Recovery’s Mission
Omega Recovery understands that the first step to treating depression and anxiety is recognizing that a problem exists. Omega incorporates “Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes” into our clinical program, unplugging from our devices, engaging in a healing community, physical exercise and immersing our clients into nature. Omega Recovery also offers traditional evidence-based therapy to depression and anxiety.

ENSURING A LASTING RECOVERY
Our clinical staff is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of advanced degreed individuals. Our staff is professionally licensed or certified. In addition, many of our support staff that specialize in other types of therapeutic modalities (i.e. acupuncture, Yoga, Neurofeedback, etc.) are trained and certified in their respective modalities.
Clinical Director, Licensed Master Social Worker
Sarah White is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She graduated from the University of Houston, Graduate College of Social work with a specialization in clinical social work with academic honors as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She was a Globe Youth Fellow and specialized in work with young adults, adolescents, and children. While participating in the Globe Youth Fellowship she was trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Targeted Interventions. She began her career working with mothers suffering from addiction who were involved with child protective services at the Council on Recovery in Houston.
Licensed Master Social Worker
Katherine is a relational therapist and incorporates, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), interpersonal neurobiology (IFNB), and mindfulness into her work with clients. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and when appropriate, uses this type of therapy to address PTSD, anxiety, and grief- just to name a few! In her work with clients, she will integrate these various techniques and maintain a compassionate approach that honors the inner wisdom and life experience that everyone brings with them.
Mayan holds a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan. Mayan is a licensed social worker and has experience working in child welfare, domestic violence, immigration and refugee services, medical case management for children with special needs.

Omega Recovery’s treatment philosophy embraces the notion that all people have the capacity to grow, flourish, and self-actualize once they break free from the grip of psychological and/or emotional challenges that have been negatively impacting their lives. We honor the concept of the Omega Point, a term coined by the French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, which he used to describe the pinnacle of human consciousness and evolution.
